Although I find the conceptual nature of this piece intriguing,* I am curious about what effect even a minor earthquake could have on the piece. Or maybe that danger is akin to the danger one can feel when flying through the sky. Equal but opposite?

Minus the 780 person a year cap on the piece, I doubt I’ll ever see it so I won’t be able to experience it, but I am curious as to if/when this piece is complete, what sensation a viewer will feel while buried underground in a metal tube. Curious.

*Although according to the comments on the Hyperallergic piece, not 100% original…
